Ryan

Ryan is the twin brother of Riley, one of the main characters and the secondary antagonist in Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse. He lives in The Ryan Mansion. He is constantly trying to woo Barbie with one of his songs, much to the anger of Ken. He has a crush on Barbie and is Midge's crush. He is conceited just like his sister.

Description[]

Like his twin sister, Riley. Ryan knows he's hot. He loves showing off his plastic abs, his Lucious locks and bad boy 'tude. But this wanna-be musician doesn’t fantasize about taking Barbie down a notch (like his sis does); instead he dreams of taking Ken down a notch.

Appearance[]

Unlike his sister, Ryan has tan skin. He also has light brown eyes and dark brown hair.

Personality[]

Ryan is overconfident and has a strong ego.

Relationships[]

He and Barbie are shown to be friends, however, Ryan makes it apparent that he loves her and wants to be more then friends.
He and Ken are enemies, always trying to win over barbie. Ryan never being able to win her over because ken and barbie are already dating.

Music Career[]

Ryan has tried to promote his music career by selling CD's at lemonade stalls and by producing music videos and ads. He has tried many times to sing for Barbie, including Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse episodes Oh How Campy and Pet Peeve. Some of Ryan's hits include:

Trivia[]

According to the Chinese version of Sour Loser, when Chelsea went behind the cutout figure of himself, and yelled at him, she pronounced his name "Lay'an" which the first and only time in the Chinese version of Life in the Dreamhouse his name is pronounced this way, as the R turns into an L in Chinese, the vice-versa of the Japanese language where the L turns into an R.
Ryan and Riley have similar roles to Alan and Ann from Sailor Moon, with the exception of being real siblings and not misguidedly evil. Ryan crushing on Barbie who loves Ken is similar to Alan crushing on Serena who loves Darian and Riley crushing on Ken who loves Barbie is similar to Ann crushing on Darian who loves Serena.
In Stuck With You, it seems like Ryan has claustrophobia, the fear of small spaces.
Ryan has a silver convertible with orange flames, as seen in Oh How Campy.
He has given himself nicknames such as "Ry" or "The Ryan."
